Welcome back!!! We have waited a long time for the boys to be back! I wonder what they will have in store for us this season. I can only imagine that it has to deal with death and darkness and all things demon.
Warning: Spoilers Ahead!
The last season ended with Sam making a deal with Rowena, Charlie dying, and of course Dean killing Death (or at least it looked like he killed Death). The last thing we saw was darkness covering the earth, which of course brought up a million and one questions. Let me tell you if I don’t get answers this season I might just have to summon Death or Crowley myself to find out what is going on. It looks like we are going to go even deeper into the story of “the mark”. I only hope that they bring back Cain for some of it because honestly besides Crowley he is the only hot “bad” guy.
We start out with a scene right out of Wizard of Oz and Dean has vanished. Do we now have to start calling Sam, Dorothy? Is Dean now the cowardly lion (or maybe the scarecrow)? Of course Dean is in the middle of a field passed out! If it would have been a field of poppy I probably would have started singing “Somewhere over the Rainbow”.
Of course the darkness is a woman! Did you really expect anything else?
I was totally wrong before it isn’t Wizard of Oz, it is the zombie apocalypse instead. Ok maybe not really zombies but at least demon like creatures that want to kind of act like zombies. Why not? Let’s roll with it, at least it isn’t killer clowns or something like that. Do I think the zombie thing is a bit overdone? The short answer is YES! I will admit though I was wondering how Supernatural was going to get into the zombie fandom. Of course we may find out that these are not zombies at all but people who have been overcome with darkness, but if that is the case then how did it choose?
Could you imagine the boys with a baby? I mean like a real life honest to God baby? It would probably be okay until it came time to change a diaper and then it would be rock, paper, and scissors on who has to change it. This actually brought tears to my eyes though (probably because I am a mother). A dad who just watched the miracle of birth immediately loses the love of his life and then zombie type people come after him! That is what you would call having a good day turn to crap.
OMG Sam seriously sounds like a bored housewife asking her husband what happened to their relationship! Sometimes Sam can be really whiny and it’s a wonder that Dean hasn’t slapped him for it yet. I get it though, he wants to save everyone and Dean wants to save the ones that immediately need it. He is more of a shoot first ask questions later kind of guy and I can respect that. At the same time though it really is about the big picture. You can’t kill a lot to save a few, it makes more sense to kill a few to save a lot. If it was me I would be like Metallica and I would Kill ‘em all.
What is up with this darkness? Even the King of Hell is saying that it is a myth, yet Dean released her. Then you find out that she has someone in the cage rattled. Come on if it can make Lucifer or the archangel Michael go crazy I don’t think it is something that I want to mess with.
Want to know what was going on with Castiel and Crowley in this episode? Well I guess you will just have to watch it. I don’t want to give you the whole story. I will say that some interesting things are coming with these two. We will see what happens soon.
